He is fantastic doctor and proves to care deeply for his patients and love his profession. It is absolutely appalling that the state has put Dr jones in the spotlight. I now live in MA and had been hearing about this Lyme specialist in CT that has been the only dr to successfully treat a very sick young girl from my area. To my surprise it was DR Charles ray jones! The state of CT should be proud to have such a great DR. Keep up the fight DR jones, you were a great doc fifty years ago and an even better doc now!!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3707770726760676731.post-81886757271552994142010-02-13T17:30:34.055+00:002010-02-13T17:30:34.055+00:00Anonymous
Many thanks for your comments. I am cer...Anonymous

Many thanks for your comments. I am certainly aware of several children in the UK who have been treated by this doctor, directly or indirectly by Dr Jones advising other LLMD's and training them.

The scary thing is the way the authorities are gunning for Dr Jones trying to scrape together any charges. I posted a video which included Dr Jones some days ago on which he says he has now treated 15000 children the World over.

If the authroities succeed in stopping Dr Jones treating tick borne illness and Lyme Disease aggressively it is the signal that will be sent out to other doctors that it is not safe to treat patients with Lyme Disease. Since when was medicine so determined to make GUIDELINES compulsary. Even the doctors at the IDSA review hearing last July were quick to point out that they were after all GUIDELINES, I particularly remember an HIV expert on the panel pointing this out and that he would not necessarily stick to a treatment because it was in the GUIDELINES. His experience with HIV should make him more open minded about Lyme Disease but we are still awaiting the outcome of the review, which will be held back further now following the corruption over the voting process overseen by IDSA.

Already in the UK we have seen the 'expert' at the HPA believing she can ape what IDSA is doing in USA by reporting our LLMD's to the GMC. Lets hope the GMC take time to investigate properly and don't choose to take a politicaly easy option.Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12905137222286141548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3707770726760676731.post-32614327767020444282010-02-13T14:04:04.653+00:002010-02-13T14:04:04.653+00:00From all I have heard Dr Charles Ray Jones is a ve...From all I have heard Dr Charles Ray Jones is a very special doctor. He is in his eighties and does not need to be working, but he carries on because there are so few doctors caring for children with Lyme Disease.

Children seem to be particularly susceptible to this illness, but also tend to have a prognosis when diagnosed and treated.

Even though my child was not a patient of his, I have donated to this fund because I feel so strongly that his fight is that of those unfortunate to become sick with this tick borne illness.

Without diagnosis and treatment my daughter would still be languishing unable to have a normal life. How can it be allowed that so many children are left to rot when something could be done for him.

The fact that Dr Jones still battles against the system to me is proof of his dedication to us all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3707770726760676731.post-77381526068839373392010-02-12T18:53:08.003+00:002010-02-12T18:53:08.003+00:00Pamela Weintraube's article A feeling for the ...Pamela Weintraube's article A feeling for the Organism
http://www.lymedisease.org/lymetimes_archive/winter2001_spring2002.pdf

One of the great humanitarian physicians, Charles Ray Jones is a medical
maverick who bucks the establishment to treat tick-borne disease in the
shadows of Yale.
