SAMUEL SHOR PRESENTATION ON LYME DISEASE
This excellent presentation is one for the Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS community as well as the Lyme Disease community.
Samuel Shor research on patients with Chronic Fatigue syndrome here
'A potentially substantial proportion of patients with what would otherwise be consistent with internationally case defined CFS in a Lyme endemic environment actually have a perpetuation of their symptoms driven by a persistent infection by Borrelia burgdorferi. By treating this cohort with appropriately directed antimicrobials, we have the ability to improve outcomes.'
I posted previously about an interview with Samuel Shor on the Diane Rehm show here
Although this study and interviews are talking about Lyme disease in the USA they are just as relevant to patients here in the UK where Lyme Disease is endemic in many parts of the UK but sadly often overlooked by doctors.

Thanks Camp - if only more doctors would consider following his lead.
